I’ve been photographing weddings for over 20 years, from large international celebrations to quiet elopements. Most of my work is in the UK — particularly in the Cotswolds — but I also regularly photograph weddings in Scotland, the US and Sri Lanka.
Experience matters. Not just on the day itself, but in knowing where to be, what to anticipate, and when to step back and let moments unfold.
Although what I do is take photographs, every wedding I shoot starts with words. Yours. Long before I pick up a camera, we talk through how you’re imagining the day, what matters most to you, the moments you hope will be captured — and just as importantly, the ones you’d rather pass unnoticed.
One question I always ask (and I ask it from experience) is who matters most to you. Weddings move quickly, families overlap, emotions run high, and the last thing you want is to look through your photographs afterwards and realise someone important is missing.
On the day, I work calmly and unobtrusively, focusing on what’s really happening rather than directing it. The photographs that tend to mean the most aren’t the obvious ones — they’re the quiet exchanges, the fleeting looks, the moments you didn’t even realise were happening at the time.
After the wedding, I carefully review and edit everything I’ve shot so you only see the strongest images. This process typically takes around four weeks.
If you choose to have an album, I use beautiful, handmade Italian albums from Graphistudio — designed to be handled, revisited and lived with over time.
Wedding photography collections start at £1,500, with elopements from £750.
If you’re planning a wedding — whether in the Cotswolds, elsewhere in the UK, or further afield — feel free to get in touch and tell me what you’re thinking. Every wedding I photograph starts with a conversation.
