I am pleased to now offer any of the following landscapes as either Amalfi panels or wall art as well as conventional matted print. See here for details and pricing.
Landscape photography is mostly about time and attention. Light changes quickly, weather rarely behaves, and the best moments often last only seconds.
Sometimes it’s planned -returning to a place, watching how it shifts, waiting for conditions to line up. Other times it happens unexpectedly, when you’re simply out and about and the light catches a field, a line of trees, or a stretch of land in a way that makes you stop.
I photograph landscapes by paying attention rather than chasing effects. It’s less about drama and more about recognising when something quietly falls into place - the way light lifts, a balance appears, a scene settles.
Much of my landscape work is shaped by travel, both close to home and further afield. Scotland, Barcelona and Devon, in particular, have been a constant draw, but the same approach applies wherever I’m working: simplicity, patience, and respect for the place itself.
These images aren’t made to impress at first glance. They tend to reveal themselves slowly, and to hold their place over time - on walls, in collections, or as part of a wider body of work.
